Ace Enders

Ace Enders has been one of my favorite singer/songwriters since music became a huge part of my life.  I remember seeing his band, The Early November, in Charlotte when the band first formed about eight years ago.  I was hooked ever since.  When TEN broke up last year, Ace started playing some solo stuff under the name Ace Enders and a Million Different People.  I was bummed when I found out I’d be missing his show in Charlotte this year, but then relieved when I found out his tour was coming to Los Angeles during the two months I’d be here.

So in the spirit of producing, interning, and generally taking advantage of being in LA, I called up Ace’s manager and offered to film his concert in late July.  The manager was very nice and said it wouldn’t be a problem to film and edit the show.  So, we’re going to have a 5 camera, HDV shoot at the Troubadour in Santa Monica on July 23.  I’m currently assembling a production team and we are going to make this as professional as possible.

It is so encouraging to strive for something and get it.  All it takes is just a bit of initiative.  I’m pumped about what this could do for our Elon in LA program.  I can’t imagine a better opportunity than getting together with friends and combining my two favorite things: music and filming.

Since one of the biggest incentives of doing this is promoting Ace Enders and his music, please check out his music:

  1. I am so proud of you Peyton, you are living your dream and your life to the fullest. A wise man once said, “Do what you love and you will never work a day in your life”, I think you are doing that now. Good luck with the concert and the film. What an amazing opportunity you have created for yourself!

Oh yeah, and like I used to tell you when you were little and we would go to N. Myrtle in the summer, “Don’t swim out too far in the ocean, the undertoe will take you out to sea.” ;P
Seriously though, I’m glad you are safe and having a great time!!!
