Today, I was fortunate enough to take a trip up to Agua Dulce to visit the winery there. Being a semi-wino, I thoroughly appreciated the beautiful 90-acre vineyards. The winery has been open for 8 years, produces 14 different wines, and has won 16 awards. I took the wine tasting and sampled the Reserve Merlot, the Reserve Zinfandel, Angeles Crest Chardonnay, Angeles Crest Syrah, and the Angeles Crest Sierra Rojo. I got to meet Don MacAdam, the owner of the vineyards. He lives on the property with his wife and four children. The surrounding area was beautiful and majestic, but somewhat of a ghost town. The mountain ranges were a nice change from the normal skyscraper walls. All in all, I’d have to say my visit was a marvel, and I will probably go back to join their Wine Club.
