” There was only one road back to L.A. – U.S. Interstate 15. Just a flat-out high speed burn through Baker and Barstow and Berdoo. Then onto the Hollywood Freeway, and straight on into frantic oblivion. Safety. Obscurity. Just another freak, in the freak kingdom.”

Welcome to the Madhouse, USA. Welcome to Los Angeles…and “the fear”.

This photostory is entitled “Dennis Does Dementia”. Some people found my newest friend in the LA underground, Dennis, creepy. Some were scared to even talk to him.

I found him fascinating. Enlightening even.

I’m always intrigued when a subject presents me with more questions than answers. Where did this man come from? Why was he so confrontational about an elevator ‘tatted’ in graffiti? Just so you know: I never asked him to strike a single pose. This was as candid as candid gets, people.

He told me that he had a cult following as an underground horror filmmaker. I found his website but I won’t divulge his identity.

I think I found my next documentary, Triche.

By the way, check out http://www.reverbnation.com/vocabulary.

I’ve been making music for a long time now and it’s about time I shared it with the world. I’ll be recording an album while I’m out here, so if you’re musically inclined let me know and let’s do some songwriting.
