On Thursday, I tagged along with my workplace Davidson & Choy and helped work a press viewing of Cirque Du Soleil‘s Iris, which will be the Kodak Theater‘s resident performance come September (except for the Oscar‘s which are held here every year).

The Kodak Theater on Hollywood Blvd.

The day was crazy, but absolutely amazing at the same time. I have always loved Cirque Du Soleil, as my family has taken every opportunity to see the performances of this French-Canadian “circus”. Being backstage at the Kodak was incredible, and I watched all of the performers get ready for the two acts that they had prepared to show the press.

The show is meant to be a “journey through the world of cinema”, but if you have ever seen a Cirque Du Soleil performance, you know that there is no easy way to explain what REALLY takes place in each show.

It felt great to be able to work outside of the office and at an actual event, and Thursday further solidified my love of this business.
