To continue an amazing weekend a few us decided to head to The Ivy for brunch this morning. As a known popular spot for celebrities to dine, we put on our Sunday best in the hopes of running into some starlets or maybe even catch the attention of the paparazzi that supposedly line the other side of the street. Unfortunately there were no celebrities (although we did think one guy looked familiar) and no paparazzi; however, it didn’t make the experience any less enjoyable. The rustic white picket fence surrounding the outdoor terrace and flowers on every surface gives is a comfortable, country atmosphere. The service was great although I’ll admit that it makes me slightly uncomfortable when someone comes to refill your water literally every time you take a sip. My ham and cheese omelet was fresh and delicious and probably the best omelet that I have ever eaten. Overall the experience was worth every penny and one of my favorite things I have done so far even without a celebrity sitting at the next table over.
