My Encounter with Marilyn Monroe

Ever since I was little, I have had a strange obsession with Marilyn Monroe.  I loved watching her movies and collecting her memorabilia.  I have everything from her perfume, posters, pictures, books, clocks, lamps, glasses, coasters, purses, towels, t-shirts,  you name it, I have it.  She has always been an ideal image of Hollywood, beauty and fame for me.  Needless to say, I was beyond thrilled to see her hand prints and place my own hands in them at The Grauman’s Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard.  This was one of the first things that we did here in LA and this was definitely something touristy I wanted to do.  Being an actress, it was very special to me to be able to see the past markings of famous actors and actresses that I look up to.
