A few weeks ago, some friends and I decided to get seasonal passes to Universal Studios. I had never been to the Studios before, despite living in Florida; I had only ever been to the Islands of Adventure (the difference is the number of roller coasters, apparently). The first trip we had a great time and took a lot of pictures of the craziness that ensued. We spent the whole day there and were able to go on most of the rides and actually saw almost all the shows! My favorites were: Animal Actors (great way to start the day), the Studio Tour (complete with 3D experience), Jurassic Park (a classic), and WaterWorld (because it’s so bad it’s actually great). Other notables were the Simpson’s Ride, Terminator and Shrek. The second trip we added the Mummy (apparently not as scary as the FL version) and the “Universal Experience” complete with costumes, original scores, and other paraphernalia.
