I went to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art on Saturday with Victoria and an Elon alum, Shelly. I had heard great things about the museum and I was especially excited to see the Tim Burton exhibit. I highly recommend it if you have not already been. Tim Burton is obviously an extremely unique artist, as we all know from his movies, but his artwork was amazing to see. We were able to see all his sketches, some personal work, his notes, letters to Johnny Depp, costumes from his films, puppets, and other weird work he’s done. We weren’t allowed to take pictures inside but here’s a picture of the entrance, which gives a pretty good indication of how strange and amazing it was inside.
Beyond all the amazing artwork inside this huge museum, I was looking forward to seeing the light posts set up outside. They were beautiful lit up at night and it was also pretty exciting that they were used in the movie No Strings Attached. Definitely check it out if you haven’t already!
