Last night, Luke, Sean, David and I all went to the Orange County Fair with Luke’s family to celebrate his birthday. We explored the fair in the afternoon and after seeing deep fried frog legs and deep fried Krispy Kreme chicken sandwiches, we stumbled upon that fair’s number one attraction: The Pig Races. We enjoyed one race and one “exhibition” and left with as many pig puns that we could handle. From there, we moved to the amphitheater where Earth, Wind & Fire was playing that night. Unfortunately, the speakers weren’t working so volume was an issue at times but the concert was still great. One of the greatest things about it was getting to see people from multiple generations all enjoying 41 years of music from one band. With how fleeting fame can be to a lot of modern pop stars, it was really great to see that they had withstood the test of time.
