Seriously. There’s no words to even describe what this experience has been like. I’ve learned and experienced so much out here. I just do not want to leave.
We finished filming ‘Dead Zone’ today, which is bittersweet. I’m so excited to see the final product, but the experience didn’t last long enough. I’m so used to a process that lasts 6 weeks when rehearsing for theatre, rather than the three days it took to film this movie. It’s been such a rewarding experience and I’ve learned and developed a new passion for acting for film.
I’ve also developed many new interests out here. I’ve recently become interested in writing and directing. I believe it has something to do with the air out here, because all of my creative juices have been flowing and I just find everything motivating. I think this is definitely the place for me to be.
A few favorites:
I filmed my monologue project (“Save the Date”) at this location, which also happens to be the location where a clip from the awesome movie “500 Days of Summer” was filmed.
My favorite place to go for coffee/tea/dessert remains the same, Aroma Coffee and Tea Company. (The cheesecake is bangin’)
My first ever professional game (of any kind) was at the Dodgers game. It was awesome and definitely one of the highlights of this trip.
Also, here are a couple of the links to some projects I’ve done out here:
