About

Elon in LA offers undergraduate students robust course offerings across a variety of subjects. Students can earn up to 18 hours of credit during the spring semester and six hours in the summer program. At the end of the experience, students graduate from the program with “reel” material either to start or add to their portfolio of professional work.

All students are required to enroll in a supervised internship as part of their Elon in LA experience. Our faculty and staff guide students through the internship process with workshops in resume creation, application processes, mock interviews and networking. Students in the Elon in LA program have interned at top-notch entertainment companies, including Sony Pictures, the CBS show “The Mentalist,” the game show “Let’s Make a Deal,” the “Ellen DeGeneres Show,” FremantleMedia, Warner Music Group, Fifteen Minutes PR, NFL Network, Lionsgate, “Ax Men,” MTV Networks and ID-PR.

Students live in a secure community on the edge of Hollywood and Burbank with access to all the amenities of Hollywood living, including pools, tennis courts, an on-site rental car service, convenience store and dry-cleaning. The facility is located within walking distance of historic Warner Bros. and Universal Studios. Additionally, weekly studio tours, TV show tapings, live performances, screenings and movie nights are among the required and optional activities that are available to students in the program.

Elon University is an ACEJMC accredited school with a strong reputation for engaging and transformative academic domestic study abroad programs.
